Chemical Exposures

Chemical exposures are an increasing part of everyday life. Understanding and protecting the population from toxic exposures is vital to the public’s health. IAI researchers and public outreach experts have taken the lead on investigating a broad range from chemical exposure risks, from nuclear radiation releases to dioxins in chicken eggs. Our research has contributed to significant changes to state advisories, drinking water regulation, and educational campaigns.
