Indoor Mold
Exposure to mold spores and microscopic fragments are an ongoing concern. Over the past decade, scientific study has found that damp buildings not only allow the growth of mold but also encourage the proliferation of dust mites and cockroaches. Exposure to mold may increase the risk of respiratory problems and other adverse health effects. IAI, in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, provided risk consultation regarding indoor air quality concerns. These services included a review of the available human biological and environmental testing data, site visits, and recommendations to minimize mold exposures and improve air quality conditions.
