Climatic Heat Events

Climatic heat events are a growing threat to public health, contributing to increased hospitalizations for strokes, heat exhaustion, and other illnesses. IAI has collaborated on a number of climate projects that examined health-related illness and mortality, the impacts of Cap and Trade legislation, indicators for climate change, and community vulnerabilities.
