IAI supplied staff for this project to support and collaborate with a spectrum of multi-disciplinary agency staff. Key support activities include: development and implementation of a standardized methodology to assess laboratory reporting compliance, document findings, and provide documented results to laboratories; enhance internal agency processes for handling documentation submitted by local health departments by developing and documenting procedures for handling these documents; and identifying areas where standard workflows are frequently interrupted to establish improved practices and eliminate redundancies.
