Ho'ohanohano I Nā Kūpuna Honor Our Ancestors Puwalu Series
These proceedings summarize a series of meetings convened by the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council to give voice to kupuna (elders), cultural practitioners, educators, policymakers, community-based activists, and others involved in the harvest and management of marine resources throughout the islands. The Council’s efforts facilitated legislation enabling Native Hawaiians to advise natural resource management decisions across the islands.
