Assessment of Regulatory Changes in the Groundfish and Crab Fisheries of the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands
This research was conducted to assist the North Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council in its efforts to establish an equitable licensing program for groundfish and crab fisheries in the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands areas. The project report describes the affected fisheries, fishery support sectors, and communities in detail, setting the stage for comprehensive analysis of potential regulatory impacts.
